The Lake Chabot Loop: A Slideshow
Since last Friday was so nice (among a string of rain-filled, sunless days), I decided to head to Lake Chabot to take a stroll around the Lake Chabot bicycle loop. It was my intention to walk the entire loop, taking in the beautiful day with a slow, leisurely stroll. It was my intention until I realized that the full loop is over 12 miles, which would have taken far longer than the time I had allotted for my afternoon walk (what’s the point if it’s pitch black out?). Point is? I didn’t finish the entire loop…buuuuuutttttt I did manage to take pictures along my 3 mile walk- pictures that, I think, give an accurate representation of Lake Chabot, whether you’re fishing on the lake, riding a bike along the loop or just taking your dog for a short stroll. Enjoy, and hopefully these will inspire you to visit one of the East Bay’s gems.
